Egoist Malla king of kathmandu

Kantipur, Bhaktapur and Patanwere the three mall kingdoms of Kathmandu valley, ruled by Jayprakash mall, ramjet mall, and Tej narsingh mall and respectively. Jayprakash mall and Ringgit mall were very ambitions and powerful. Jayprakash mall called himself "Npalieshwar", and resisted Prithvi Narayan shah's campaign.he tried to regain Nuwakot and fought against Prithvi Narayan shah and raised hurdles on his path. these kings were too selfish and egoist to lose an inch of their territory. this tendency was a big hurdle on the way to

uni fiction.

CONQUEST OF NUWAKOT (1801BS)

Gurkha state had made extensive Preparations and was determined to capture Newark. By this time the Gurkha troops were well-trained and fully equipped. He personally commanded the gorkha army. The whole troop was divided in to three groups. Kali pander marched from the route of Grekhu, kirti mahodam from Dram water and prithvi Narayan shah from the Asokvari route. At the time of attack, jayanta rana was in Kathmandu and Shankhamani Rana was made commander of nuwakot Army. A battle was fought on 25th Ash win 1801 BS and Shankhamani Rana was killed. aftr the capture of nuwakot, prathvi narayan shah continued his victory march until he captured Naldum, Mahadev pound, dahachok, Sang, Chung, and the surrounding areas. Ramjet mall, become suspicious of prithvi narayanshh pacified him by assuring that he would give certain of the conquered territory to bhadgaon.

CHANGU NARAYAN TEMPLE

CHAN GU NARAYAN PARK, THE OLDEST DATED TEMPLE OF NEPAL, IS LOCATED ABOUT 13 KM EAST OF KATHMANDU AND 4 KM NORTH OF BHAKTAPUR. CHTWAN NATIONAL PARK

Chit wan national park, the oldest national park of Nepal, was delineated in 2030BS as a heritage site. situated about in 120km south-west of capital city of Nepal, this national park occupies an area of 932 sq km of forest, marshes and rivers of the Terai. This national park protects and preserve several rare and endangered wildlife like the one-horned rhinoceros, several species of deer, sloth bear,  leopard, wild bear, elephant freshwater dolphin, crocodile, more than 350 species of birds and the elusive Royal Bengal tiger. this national was an area of 'big game; in the past and now it is potent ground for researchers, observers and nature lovers.

SAGARMATHA NATIONAL PARK

Established in 2033 BS., Sagarmatha national park covers a total area of 1,148 sq km of the khumbu region, north-east of the Nepal mt.Sagarmatha this national park comprises Mt Everest (Sagarmatha), the highest peak of the world, Lhotse, the fourth highest, Nuptse Choyu, Pumori Amadablam, Thamsherku and some other world Famous mountain peaks. This national park also encompass variety o vegetation like rhododendrons, various species of pine, Fir spruce, etc. and several high altitude animals, birds and reptiles like deer, snow leopard, bear, deer, squirrel, pheasant, etc.This national park lures a big number of domestic a well as international tourists every year.

BIRTH PLSCE OF BUDDHA

Lumbini, the birth place of Shakyamuni Gautama Buddha, is the most sacred place for the Buddhists. many Domestic and international Buddhist dotes visit this site to worship. The site has a stone pillar for commemorating the Birth of Lord Buddha and his visit to pillar confirms an ancient garden Lumbini as well as the birth palace of  Buddha .The  mayadvi temple and the puskarin pound, the birthing centre of Siddhartha Gautama, are other ancient attractions Lumbini Development Committee, consisting of 13 countries including Nepal, in 1970. From then on, china, Myanmar, japan, Vietnam, south Korea, India, Thailand, Germany, France Mongolia and some other countries have been construction Buddha Vihars in this site. Some building for the proposed university, a library, a museum and a research centre in the vicinity also add to the attractions of Lumbini.

BOUDHANATH

The Boudhanath site, located about 8km east of Kathmandu, consists of a colossal Buddhist chatty, the biggest Loamiest temple in the world. Built around the fifth century, the chatty has all seeing eyes of Buddha Just above the dome watching in all Four directions. Ajima, five Gimp's (Tibetan monasteries) and over 45 Buddha Vihars also add to he beauty and importance of the site.

SWAYAMBHU

Swayambhu means 'Self Created' who is also believed to be the creator and destroyed, too. The main chaityas, about 2000 years old, is one of the world's most pious Buddhist Chatyas. There are two white dome-shaped temples called Anantapur and pratappur on either sides and five Buddhas around the main  Chat's. Goddess Harati, Karma Raj Mahavira ministry, Akshobhya Buddhas, the biggest statue of lord Buddha in Nepal, etc. are other significant things to see and worship.  Te Swayambhu site also maintains religious tolerance by concealing Manchuria. the goddess of wisdom to Buddhist and Sarasota, the goddess of Knowledge to Hindus in the same temple.

HANUMANDHOKA DURBAR SQUARE

Hanumandhoka Durbar Square, also by the name of Kathmandu Durbar square. It is Sityated in the heart of kathmandu. There are old temples, palaces, spectacular image and idols of gods, goddesses and kings and other unique constructions. The name of Hanumandhoka comes from the state of Hanumandhoka comes from the statue of Hanuman  established by pratap malla. Taleju temple, the shiva parvati temple, the temple of kal Bhairav, the Indrapur temple, the Narayan temple, the Mahadev temple, the mahendra temple, Coronation Nasal Chowk, the Gaddhi Baithak, the statue of king pratap Malla, the Big Bell, the Big Drum, the Jagannath Temple,and the Nautale Durbar are interesting sites on the outer part of Hanumandhoka.Kathmandu got it's name from Kasthamandap which is located on the west of the Hanumandhoka Durbar Square.

GEO-PHYSICAL DIFFICULTY

The Geographical of our country is very rugged and uneven.here are great mountain, hills, vallys, fast flowing river, gorges, dense foress and so on.It is very easy to move one place to another destination for people.But in a compaign of unification it was not easy to move th vast army from one side o the hill to another side.Some time river were over-flooded.Th eleveted position of nuwaot had osed a problem for late king prithi narayan shah to attack it. In the batle of kritipur 'Balkhu river'presented a deceiving feature to tje gorkhales. King prithvi Narayan did not lose heart.
