SAGARMATHA NATIONAL PARK

Established in 2033 BS., Sagarmatha national park covers a total area of 1,148 sq km of the khumbu region, north-east of the Nepal mt.Sagarmatha this national park comprises Mt Everest (Sagarmatha), the highest peak of the world, Lhotse, the fourth highest, Nuptse Choyu, Pumori Amadablam, Thamsherku and some other world Famous mountain peaks. This national park also encompass variety o vegetation like rhododendrons, various species of pine, Fir spruce, etc. and several high altitude animals, birds and reptiles like deer, snow leopard, bear, deer, squirrel, pheasant, etc.This national park lures a big number of domestic a well as international tourists every year.
